The ones that did not make the cut

As some of you know, Gatekeepers is getting a new look. In fact, the first volume of The Fog Chronicles is going back to its source.

Originally written and shared by installments in the old tradition of a serial – the way Charles Dickens and so many others published their work, I decided later to print it all-in-one instead. A year later, I felt something had been lost in the process and I decided to relaunch Gatekeepers as it was originally designed, in three acts.

For months, I worked with a professional, the great Mark Thomas of Coverness, and I learned a lot thanks to him. We worked on the design of Gatekeepers I, II, and III, which together form the first story of The Fog Chronicles. But I will not introduce you formally here to the brand new look of serialised novel Gatekeepers and its components, Fogbound, Crisis and Power. Not yet … In this post, I will give you some behind the work shots of the covers which did not make the cut!
