The Musical Spices

Music always brings my spirits high; or higher, as they are already and usually set on high.

There might have been one song that could bring a feeling of loneliness in me, ‘All by myself’. Still, a special blend of circumstances – being single, sleep-deprived, drunk, with no access to chocolate – would have been necessary. This unlikely danger stopped existing when it was used in the movie Bridget Jones; now it is linked to comedy.

It is true, isn’t it? Have you ever felt lonely listening to music? I expect not, but let’s cut into the chase. I don’t need to sing the praises of music to anyone, its worth is an established fact. Instead, I wish to share with you a few tunes on this end of month! As the choice is endless and I didn’t know where to begin, spices came to mind (of course). So here is what some of the spices in my life sound to me. Let me know if it rings true to you too.

May those songs bring some oomph in your day and spice it up a notch!

Yours, Virginie
