So why worry?

We all get overwhelmed with worry sometimes. Big or small, there are nagging and spoil our everyday life.

Like everyone, it affects me too. So over the years, I have endeavoured to train my mind to put those worries aside by reminding myself that:

  • If the ‘problem’ is really just an inconvenience, dismiss it.
  • If the ‘problem’ is an imaginary-possible-future one issued from a ‘what if’ thought, dismiss it. You may plan ahead to avoid problems, but you can’t control the future.

  • Everything is temporary and everything is relative.

  • Going for a long walk and breathing always makes it less daunting.
