Yes, once again, I flew away to Scotland this summer…
And once again I fell in love with the beauty of this striking country.
This post will focus on the photography side of my brief stay in the Scottish countryside near Inverness, so I will spare you the details of all my activities. it is enough to mention that it was a very relaxing weekend, with walk in the forest,
Picking juicy and ripe apples, gooseberries and raspberries along the way,
And making new friends!
I also discovered the pleasure, despite the strong cold summer wind, of an evening fire and BBQ on the North Sea beaches.
Scotland and the Highlands have conquered my heart long ago. It is a hard and raw country on the surface yet underneath the rough beauty, the land has a true softness. The sensitivity and purity in the air captivates you mind and body.
Thank you Scotland, for enrapturing me every time I come to visit in your timeless and eerie beauty.
Thank you for reading,
Yours, Virginie
