Growing up surrounded by History,
Drenched in sunshine,
Enveloped in light,
Immersed in conviviality,
Blessed with family love.
How could I not feel fortunate to be born a Nîmoise!
(though I would rather they had something else than a fish on that t-shirt)
I love being a Londoner and London is my home, but it is not the only one. I will always be a Nîmoise as well, in my heart, mind, and ways.
